The Egyptians used it to create symbolic jewels (protective eye, scarab to bring luck). Lapis lazuli was a symbol of divine strength, power and courage. Its deep blue color was associated with immortality and infinity.

The deposits: Australia, Canada, France, Madagascar, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
The color of labradorite is light gray with blue mirror effects.
