Lapis lazuli is an indigo blue, ultramarine blue stone. Lapis lazuli can be found speckled with gold(pyrite) and spotted with white(calcite)

The Egyptians used it to create symbolic jewels (protective eye, scarab to bring luck). Lapis lazuli was a symbol of divine strength, power and courage. Its deep blue color was associated with immortality and infinity.
- Tiger’s eye:
During the Roman Empire, soldiers used it to give themselves courage and protection.
Deposits: Australia, Burma, Brazil, India, Madagascar, Russia, South Africa, United States.
Its color goes from brown to golden yellow.
